A Tallow-Based Skincare From The Smithstead

Terra & Tallow was created from a simple belief: skincare should work with the body, not against it.

Your skin’s outer layer is held together by natural fats. When those fats are stripped away by harsh products, weather, or stress, moisture escapes and irritation follows. Instead of layering on synthetic fillers, we return to what the skin already recognizes.

Tallow is rich in fatty acids that closely resemble the oils your skin naturally produces. That similarity allows it to support the skin barrier, slow moisture loss, and restore softness in a way that feels compatible, not cosmetic.

We use only grass-fed suet, sourced locally and rendered slowly by hand. We do not bleach, deodorize, or industrially refine our tallow. Minimal processing preserves the integrity of the fat and the naturally occurring fat-soluble vitamins it contains.

No long ingredient lists.
